About Me

Thank you for taking time to inquire about Evolve Therapy and the services I provide. With so many distractions these days, I think it’s amazing that you are taking time out to see if the therapy I provide may align with your needs. While I think it is essential to find a therapist that you connect with, I also think it is essential to find a therapist that you feel comfortable and safe with. I’d like to share a little about myself in order to give you a better understanding of who I am as a professional therapist.

I served nine plus years in the United States Navy as an enlisted service member. I received my B.A. from Colombia College. I completed my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor with special training in various schools of therapy. I am an EMDR therapist and have completed all training requirements for certification. I have also completed the level 3 practicum training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and utilize these skills in my work with couples. I have experience with children, relationships, marriage, trauma, substance abuse/dependency, mood and personality disorders. I have experience in both state facilities and private practice settings. I am currently furthering my education to gain prescription rights to provide additional services to those I work with in the near future.

Emotional, behavioral and cognitive health is my passion and there is nothing else on this planet I’d rather do as a career. It is my honor to service those who are in search of an emotional evolution. If you feel that I can help you therapeutically please contact me for a free consultation session.

What to expect

When you attend treatment, my initial goal is to identify your immediate therapeutic needs by listening to your narrative and making clinical observations of your body language and statements. I utilize this information to create a treatment plan which lists items both you and I have jointly agreed may improve your current thoughts, behavior patterns and emotional state. I pride myself on being extremely open, and non-judgmental.
